Broken wireless internet
Wireless networks, in our experience, are somewhat susceptible to breaking. They can be working perfectly for months, and then suddenly never work again.
Wireless networks typically emanate from a router, such as the one pictured to the right. They are responsible for broadcasting a signal across your house/office which PCs, laptops, mobiles and other devices can pick up, enabling them to use your internet connection or access other devices on a local network.
If your wireless network has suddenly broken, or it only works sporadically, then we will be happy to assist you. Typical issues involve overheating, physical damage, other devices interfering, or the router may have forgotten its settings or requires a "firmware" upgrade.
Alternatively, perhaps you have just bought a new laptop, or your internet provider has given you a free wireless router, and you don't know what to do to get up and running? If so, give us a call!
This kind of problem would normally take in the region of one to three hours to diagnose and solve. If it requires a new router then we would be happy to supply one for you, or you could buy one yourself.
